Creative
“Creative” can be both an adjective and a noun.
Most people think of it as an adjective. The common phrasing is that creative people create a “creative work” or “creative piece”.
But in our world, “a creative” can also mean a person that works in the creative space. Watch an old episode of Mad Men and you will hear them distinguish between the suits and the creatives. (Although on the show, Don Draper, a creative, was pretty much always dressed in a suit. That’s a sign of that era. Later dress codes typically found the creatives in blue jeans and black t-shirts.)
Or “creative” can literally be that work or piece that the creative person created. (Did that on purpose. Can you tell that this isn’t AI?) You can ask “show me the creative” when reviewing ideas in a planning session.
So as a noun, a creative can be a person or a piece of work. (And yes, sometimes that person can be described as a real piece of work.)
With that in mind, here is some of our creative…
